Bringing Soccer to Pinellas County Families Since 1970

From the desk of Tony Paris

Dear Families,

I would like to welcome our Players and parents back for another fun filled season of soccer at Puryear Park. The facility looks superb after some TLC and with nature taking care of the rest of the maintainence!
Great excitement waits as we enter year 3 of the Everton Way and our relationship with Everton FC. We have record numbers registered within our Academy which is of course the building block of the club and bodes well for the health of the program in years to come. After hosting our first coaches meeting last week, I think it fair to say the Coaches are excited and ready to make the difference once again with structured and meaningful sessions, that will help our players and teams excel.  The standard of our coaching slate is in my opinion unrivalled at any club. Not only from a coaching standpoint, but from a mentorship standpoint as well..  Our Core values are as important to us now as they were from inception, of which I will feature for your perusal once again.
Ownership-Integrity- Accountability-Loyalty-Respect-Unity
The normal weather pattern continues to frustrate our training sessions as we try to prepare for the season. However we have to put the player’s safety first and ask for your cooperation in this important matter. Judgment calls will be made in order to access a threatening storm and save wasted journeys to the park, however weather patterns change rapidly and what appeared to be a major storm, ends up a storm in a teacup. Of course we have no way of knowing this so please bare with us in these tricky situations.
On a final note, please be sure to make this a positive year for your child and an enjoyable experience for all concerned.  Good Luck to all of our Everton FL teams!  See you on the fields.
